didn't like recruitment, lady from Dallas on a short-term visa, ex
rock star, future opera singer, Germaine Greer's creditor. And the connection between this lot? Easy - none of them had a background in recruitment advertising but we've hired them all over the last few years, a period in which only one person with any training in the black art of job ads slipped through our net and onto our payroll. |

And her background was accounts. So there.
So it will be no surprise that we extend a warm Giraffe welcome (yuk!) to our first new hire, Lori Gatto* - a snowboarding, swing dancing lady from Canada, who has spent the last four years working in hairdressing and make up in the Film and TV industry.
Lori, who will be working with Il Duce, sorry, Maria, also teaches hair finishing ("How difficult can that be? My hair was finished long ago" - bitter Ed).
We also welcome back the world's biggest internet bore (but he's our internet bore), David Craig, as our online consulting partner, hoping he forgives us if we continue to walk out of the room when he starts talking techie. And hoping he doesn't freak us out like he did when he got his revenge - by starting his techie talk and promptly walking out himself.
